My Passion For Dancing 

Dance has made me a better person. I enhance my strength, courage and confidence. Ever since I was a little girl dance has always been an important part of my life. When I was five, my mom enrolled me in Bharatanatyam dancing classes.
 

Bharatanatyam (Tamil: பரதநாட்டியம்)

Bharatanatyam is a classical dance form that originated in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is known for its expressive storytelling, intricate hand gestures facial expressions, and precise footwork. The dance is typically accompanied by Carnatic music, which is a type of classical music from South India that is characterized by its use of improvisation and complex melodies. Bharatanatyam is a traditional art form that has been passed down through generations, and it is considered to be a sacred and spiritual expression. It is usually performed in temples and other religious spaces as a way of offering devotion to the gods, and it is also performed in cultural festivals and events. In recent years, Bharatanatyam has gained popularity around the world, with many people learning and performing the dance as a way to celebrate and preserve their cultural heritage.

Bollywood Dance


Bollywood dancing is a colourful, dynamic and highly theatrical dance style seen in Indian films. It combines classical forms of dance including traditional Indian, folk, salsa, belly-dance while also incorporating more contemporary western forms such as hip hop, jazz and funk. I am a self learner and learned Bollywood dance by seeing in youtube videos and participated in various indian cultural events.

Singing

Singing has always been a prominent aspect of my life. It is my favorite hobby, my stress reliever, and the best self-entertainer. When no one is home, I sing so much that I won’t be able to talk properly for the next few days, but it’s always worth it. My father is a big fan of music director Ilayaraja from India and always sings his songs and he always wanted to me sing Tamil songs. My parents realized that I have a good voice and My parents enrolled me in Carnatic classical music, and I continued classes since I was five. Connecting with the roots

I have studied Tamil Language in  International Tamil Academy   and completed 6th grade. Tamil Language , member of the Dravidian language family, spoken primarily in India. It is the official language of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu and the union territory of Puducherry (Pondicherry).
